We understand the importance of your data privacy. If you wish to delete your account and associated data from [Your App Name], please follow the instructions below.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request the deletion of your account and associated personal data, please send an email to:

In your email, please include the following information to help us process your request:

• Subject Line: Account Deletion Request - Pixel Map
• Email Address: The email address associated with the Pixel Map account you wish to delete.
• (Optional) Your Pixel Map username, if you have set one.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

Upon successful verification and processing of your request, we will delete the following data associated with your account:

• Your user authentication record (including your email address and any hashed password information stored by Firebase Authentication).
• Your user profile information stored in our database (including your username, credits, bits, color purchases, achievements, active boosts, daily login streak, and other gameplay statistics).
• Any pixels you have placed on the map that are directly attributed to your user ID.
• Your voting history on pixels.
• Your saved locations.
• Your saved art templates.
• Any feedback you have submitted through the in-app feedback system that is directly tied to your user ID (if applicable and identifiable).

What Data May Be Retained?

Please note that some data may be retained under certain circumstances:

• Anonymized or Aggregated Data: We may retain anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you personally (e.g., general usage statistics for the app, total number of pixels placed globally without attribution to specific deleted users).
• Backup Systems: Data may remain in our backup systems for a limited period (e.g., up to 90 days) until it is overwritten as part of our standard backup rotation cycle. We will not use this backup data for operational purposes once your deletion request is processed.
• Legal Obligations: We may retain certain information if required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as resolving disputes or enforcing our terms of service.

Processing Time

We aim to process account deletion requests within 30 days of receiving a complete and verifiable request. We will notify you once the deletion process has been completed.
